Welles Crowther, remembered as “The Man in the Red Bandana,” was a 24-year-old equities trader and volunteer firefighter who saved numerous lives in the South Tower on 9/11 by leading people to safety through smoke and fire. Watch the ESPN feature here.

Acquisitions / Dispositions / Financings

ACQUISITION: RJ Walker at Lee & Associates recently closed on a 6-acre industrial-zoned parcel in Caldwell, ID, representing both the buyer and seller. The property, sold for $2,157,000, sits within an Industrial Park zone with utilities on or near the site.

ACQUISITION: Apricus Realty Capital acquired a 9.2-acre IOS property at 403 W. Brentwood St. in Channelview, located about 18 miles east of Houston off I-10. The site is fully leased to GFL Plant Services LP, which supports the Houston Ship Channel’s petrochemical industries.

ACQUISITION: Unique Properties closed the $11.5M sale of 1700 E 68th Ave in Denver, CO, featuring an 82,394 SF warehouse on 6.3 acres. The off-market deal includes expansive outdoor yard/storage and immediate access to I-25/I-70, offering strong IOS functionality. The property is anchored by two tenants and delivers long-term land-backed value.

ACQUISITION: Realterm acquired a 79-door truck terminal at 2612 W. Morris Street in Indianapolis, IN. The 10-acre site includes a 37,965-SF terminal, 7,635 SF of office space, and a 7,626-SF maintenance shop, all recently renovated. The deal strengthens Realterm’s portfolio in a top Midwest logistics market with strong demand and growth potential.

FINANCING: Blacktop Industrial Trust secured $33.36 million in acquisition financing from Ladder Capital Finance to acquire Rosslyn Business Park in northwest Houston. The 45-acre, 337,705-SF industrial campus was purchased from Clay Development & Construction, Inc. JLL Capital Markets’ Jack Britton arranged the loan.

Recently Leased Properties

LEASED: Avison Young’s Charlotte Industrial Team leased 12.07 acres of IOS at Greendock Industrial Center, 3300 Westinghouse Blvd, on behalf of Green Dock Partners. The asset has been successfully redeveloped and stabilized in Charlotte’s Stateline Submarket. Blake Osborn represented the tenant in the transaction, with support from Henry Lobb and Christopher Skibinski.
